"Split Second" Short film Compositing in After Effects

I did compositing for a short film called "Split Second". The film is part of a lighting competition and with VFX we wanted to enhance the drama of the car crash by using 2D plates of fire comped in on top of a plate shot with lights and candles where the fire was supposed to be later on. I tracked the footage and then applied various techniques to implement the fire assets in the final shots.
