You got time to meet up? I heard some of Eddies old crew have been hanging around again. They didn't go underground for good. Rachel Teller and her Nissan 350z JDM tuner is back in Bayview for this Unreal Engine 5 short film cinematic. 🐲
Hi guys, I'm proud to present my 6 months long Unreal Engine 5 project titled Need For Speed UNDERGROUND 2—UE5 REWORKED 2025. To celebrate reaching 100.000 views on my Unreal Engine 5, NFS High Stakes short film cinematic • Need For Speed: High Stakes (Road Challeng... I wanted to create one more cinematic set in the @NeedforSpeed universe. This time I jumped a few titles forward to the 2000s and set my eyes on Bayview. I wanted the video to feature the iconic Nissan 350z and what better way to create a story around it than also featuring it's equally iconic owner Rachel Teller?
This project was a great chance for me to dive into a wide range of skills that 3D artists work with. It was the first time I used motion capture in a full production, using my @RokokoMotion SmartSuit II and gloves. I also experimented with VDB smoke simulations in @jangafx EmberGen, created a full character with blendshapes, simulated cloth, and groomed hair (CFX). The workflow combined tools like @reallusion, @BlenderOfficial, @Abstract-Official and Unreal Engine.
A big part of the project was also figuring out how to build scenes, shots, and environments in a way that scales well for larger, linear production pipelines.
A massive amount of time and effort was put into this cinematic, so I hope you'll like it! Thanks for watching! 😊
